Orchard pruning day (2)
All are welcome to join the maintenance party in the Community Orchard at Gravel End.
We aim to continue the work started in February:
— winter prune the fruit trees as needed
— finish weeding around the trees and continue weeding the hedges.
Come along at any time between 11am and 3pm.
Please bring
— pruning tools (cleaned and sharpened, please), weeding tools and/or shovels/pitchforks
— gardening gloves and warm protective clothing
— something to drink and a snack to keep you going.
