Information about the Village Hall (including how to book) can be found on their Facebook page.

Wardy Hill Social Club
The Wardy Hill Social Club owns a small building in Wardy Hill which requires some structural repair. A committee separate from the Parish Council is responsible for maintaining the building.

The Community Orchard and the surrounding biodiversity area are owned and managed by the Parish Council.

Allotments
Located at the bottom of Gravel End, the allotments are owned and managed by the Parish Council. More information can be found on the main Allotments page.

John's Wood
“The wood was planted entirely by the local community in 1995 in a secluded position on a grass field. A single grass path loops around the site ending at a small grass glade on the eastern edge of the wood where views of Ely cathedral can be enjoyed.”
John’s Wood is managed by the Woodland Trust. More information can be found on the Woodland Trust website.
The location is shown on the map at the bottom of this page, and access is down a track between 16 and 18 Main Street, Coveney.

The Pound, Coveney
The Pound and adjacent lockup were built in c1850. They are managed by the Parish Council on behalf of the community.
Stray livestock would have been impounded until claimed by their owners, or sold to cover the costs of impounding. The lockup would have been used for the confinement of drunks, who were usually released the next day, or to hold people being brought before the local magistrate before they were transferred to a prison in Ely.
Both the Pound and the lockup are listed buildings, and more information can be found here.
