Village pond: join a working party
CONFIRMED: the working party on 6th October is going ahead!
Work has started on the project to renovate Coveney village pond and its surroundings.
On Sunday 13th October, from 10 am onwards, we’re forming a working party to continue clearing weeds and preparing ground for planting. Come and help us to get the project off to a good start!
Please bring:
– a fork and/or spade
– stout footwear and gardening gloves
– garden sacks or old compost bags, if you have any, for removing weeds
– a flask of something warming!
Light snacks will be provided.
If the weather is bad, work will be cancelled: look for announcements here and on WhatsApp.
