The Annual Parish Meeting for Coveney was held on Monday 13th April 2026 and proved to be a very positive and well-attended event.

It was encouraging to see so many residents come along and take an interest in the life of the village.

A range of reports were shared, reflecting the many groups and individuals who contribute to our community. Updates were given from the church, WI, youth club, Feoffees, and the tree warden, alongside reports from both county and district council representatives. Together, these highlighted the breadth of activity and the ongoing efforts to maintain and improve vil-lage life.

We were also pleased to welcome Rachel from the East Cambs District Council, who attended to provide an update on the Neighbourhood Plan. Her contribution helped keep residents in-formed about progress and the next steps in shaping the future of Coveney.

Overall, the meeting was a great success, with strong attendance and a clear sense of communi-ty spirit. Thank you to everyone who took part, contributed reports, and came along to support the event.
