We are looking for 3 Parish Councillors
Have you considered joining your Parish Council?
Would you like to help shape the way your community is managed?
Being a Parish Councillor is hugely rewarding and we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds.
No specific skill is required: you might have an interest in increasing highway safety, or influencing future development through reviewing planning applications, or improving infrastructure such as the play areas.
Coveney Parish Council covers Wardy Hill and Way Head as well as Coveney. The Parish Council meets monthly (normally at 7:30pm on the third Monday of the month). Its main areas of responsibility include the play area and multi-use games area, community orchard, allotments and village greens.
The Parish Council is a consultee on planning application and is the point of liaison of Cambridgeshire County Council and East Cambridgeshire District Council on matters affecting the area.
The two vacancies are to be filled by co-option.
