Bus service from 8 January 2026
Alongside our County and District councillors, we have been working with the Greater Cambridge Combined Authority to put in place a replacement for the 125 bus service which has been withdrawn. Help slow traffic in our Parish – volunteer opportunity

Footpath from Coveney to Downham Hythe
Work commenced as expected in March to repair the bridge on the footpath from Coveney to Downham Hythe, but unfortunately this work has been paused after the contractors found water vole activity. It is expected that this work will re-commence in September.
Defibrillator
The defibrillator at the Village Hall has been re-activated and should be available for use again. The emergency services can provide the code to open the cabinet, and the Village Hall committee and the Parish Council also have access to this code. Events update – Parish Council meeting cancelled, Perseid meteor shower
